As part of their exceptional team you will be at the heart of retail strategy working along side industry experts and leading retail clients.  Commercial Due Diligence - CDD - Strategy - Consulting – Retail/Consumer Products/FMCG As a Senior Consultant/Manager you will be responsible for: Managers hold and develop our client relationships, understanding a company and what drives it. You will have a key internal role, develop your sector expertise and support the career development of our consultants.  Working as part of project teams on consulting engagements/managing client projects, defining the scope of project and managing client relationships. Attend client meetings and presentations. This will include some travelling to client sites. David Lancefield - Managing Director

David has led the Selecture business since 2001 and relishes working with a team of professionals who thoroughly enjoy what they do and consistently go above and beyond for their clients.

With over 16 years experience in executive search, David has proven expertise in identifying and acquiring key talent with technical and leadership capabilities. He has depth placing senior specialists in business transformation, strategy and operations. Clients include management consultancies, FSIs and major corporates implementing new operating models.

By focusing on a few core areas, David is able to provide a deep view of candidate and client communities and valuable market insights. He is dedicated to balancing the requirements of his clients whilst upholding the highest level of candidate care and has been recognised on several occasions, winning “Recruiter of the Year” award, as voted by clients and candidates.

In his spare time, David enjoys tennis, skiing and relaxing with family and friends.

Carolyn Liddiard - Finance Director

Carolyn is Selecture’s Finance Director. She has 20 years’ experience working in senior finance and operational roles in various industries.

Carolyn qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY London before moving to Bunzl plc, a FTSE 100 outsourcing solutions business. She held many roles including Finance Director of Lockhart Catering Equipment where she managed the finance function, HR and IT.  She went on to become Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Bunzl group managing the Group budgeting process and the ongoing analysis of business performance. Carolyn also spent several years within Corporate Development leading the acquisitions of owner managed businesses across the UK, Continental Europe and South America.

After leaving Bunzl, Carolyn worked for a PR company leading the finance function. Carolyn lives in London with her husband and daughters. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, cycling, entertaining friends and relaxing with her family.

Claire Whiddett - Company Secretary, Head of Finance and Administration

With 16 years’ experience, Claire is the Company Secretary and the Head of Finance and Administration for Selecture; based in the London office.

With the first 9 years of her career in Retail and Hospitality attaining experience in office management, accounting, secretarial, operations, recruitment, HR, marketing and events; a move to Selecture with its global presence and high reputation in the market was an ideal venture to enable her to build on her already established skills and knowledge. For the past 7 years, she has been managing the Finance and Administration division of Selecture on a global level.

With a membership to Arsenal football club, Claire is an avid spectator of all sports. In addition, she also enjoys reading, music, socialising with her friends and spending time with her young family.

Raj Rathod - Director, Strategy Consulting and Advisory

Raj is a specialist recruiter focused on placing management consultants and corporate advisory professionals in to management consulting and in-house roles from Consultant to Partner level.

Raj joined Selecture in March 2015 after working 8 years for two specialist management consultancy and corporate advisory recruitment companies.

After graduating from Brunel University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Raj joined one of London’s biggest finance recruitment firms where he learnt his trade. Raj is currently focused on the corporate advisory and strategy space working with large consultancy firms, inhouse teams and specialist boutiques in a range of sectors.

Stephen Wilson - Partner, Technology

Stephen is a Senior Partner within Selecture and is based in Melbourne.  He has a proven track record of advising in the technology recruitment space over the last 10 years and his experience spans from working with Pre IPO Silicon Valley firms and DOTCOM start ups to larger software vendors and global consulting firms. Stephen has successfully carried out assignments across the UK, EMEA (DACH, Nordics, Benelux and France), the Middle East and more recently Australia.

Stephen has very strong domain knowledge; as well as a growing network within Enterprise (Technology) Security & Forensics – an area of increasing significance across both the SME and larger customer bases.

High on integrity and an advocate of offering a truly consultative service to the market, Stephen brings a fresh and detailed oriented approach to his assignments, keen to understand the needs of those he advises.

Stephen has a degree in Italian & Linguistics from University College London and is an avid sportsman – enjoying squash, golf, skiing and mountain biking.

Cal Doherty - Director, Europa

Cal Doherty co-leads Selecture’s Europa Team. He works primarily throughout continental Europe and partners with renowned blue chip corporates, boutique strategy firms and prestigious global consultancies.

Cal has close to 8 years search and recruitment experience with particular depth in senior search, Team/ Practice Builds, and bespoke Recruitment Solutions. From an initial career in Telecoms with BT, O2 and Orange, Cal moved into recruitment with Selecture in 2008.

He manages a team of researchers and consultants which focus on:

Juliane Haupt - Director, Europa

Juliane Haupt co-leads the European Selecture Team. Based on her own background in executive management, she specialises in international executive placements primarily within Big 4 advisories, renowned blue chip corporates, boutique strategy firms and prestigious national and global consultancies.

Having created momentum for, and delivered on, broad transformation initiatives, Juliane is an experienced consultant who now helps build high-performing teams for international clients.
