Managing Director for ANZ for Global Enterprise Software & Security firm

Brief:

A global Enterprise Security Firm required a seasoned individual with a track record in Australia & NZ in scaling a SAAS business.

Some exposure to the wider APAC region was also required. As there were some broader performance issues in the team, our client wanted a Visionary leader who could galvanise the team of Sales, Pre-Sales and Channel marketing.

As  our client had recently Pivoted from the hardware space and into the enterprise security space they needed an individual who was up for a challenge and could help them build their brand in the wider industry.

Approach:

Selecture conducted a detailed search and because of the challenges and lack of Brand in the SAAS & Security sector we focused particularly on our direct networks and individuals we have worked closely with who trust and value our judgement. From a longlist of 25 we then whittled this down to a shortlist of 6 candidates who we felt could meet the challenges of this role.

Results:

Selecture rigorously assessed and referenced the shortlisted candidates, for expertise, market connectivity, Leadership style, cultural fit, collaboration and importantly where they are most impactful. This resulted in 2 candidates progressing to final stage interview and subsequently an offer and acceptance. 

Following their onboarding the successful candidate had a very good first year and their remit has expanded to also encompass AsiaPacifica & Japan.
