Lead Business Analyst - Robotics Process Automation - Blue Prism

Role Description

My client, who are a leading Global Banking organisation, are embarking on an exciting new initiative to become a data-driven intelligent enterprise. The introduction of cognitive technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), is to act as an agent for change to transform the business to a new way of working with front to back office innovation, operational excellence and the embrace of enhanced technologies to increase scale, speed and manage risk.

The role will sit within a newly formed  Cognitive Science Automation group, which will be responsible for my client’s digital workforce – to configure, run, optimise and manage related operational change. 

  • Lead the Business Analysis and configuration activity of process automation opportunities within the Blue Prism platform.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior configuration analysts to ensure object design and process design align with best practice.
  • Acts as the Blue Prism Super User, providing a superior level of knowledge of the Blue Prism product and associated methodology to support colleagues through all phases of the Blue Prism delivery lifecycle.
  • Develop Blue Prism automation components based on Technical Architect recommendations following Blue Prism standards. Conduct process reviews and verify that the Blue Prism processes and objects are configured using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand. Ensures that requirements traceability is accurately maintained and included in package.
  • Review the testing strategy / approach and results for quality and completeness.
  • Develop agile protocols vs. waterfall to accommodate more nimble, adaptable deployment methodology.

You must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience implementing Blue Prism robots, and ideally hands-on experience architecting and designing automation solutions using the tool also. Prior experience of working within Agile environments is also required to be considered for this role.
